Megan Koreman, Ph.D, the author commissioned to produce a detailed study of the Dutch-Paris Escape Line has completed the third of eleven preparatory study phases. The eleven phases should result in a 2012 publication date.
Dr. Koreman has consulted with specialists at the Netherlands Institute of War Documentation and with Dr. Sierk Plantinga at the Nationaal Archief at The Hague. In October, Dr. Koreman completed the second intensive study of the Weidner Center archives at Atlantic Union College (AUC) in Massachusetts.
In early November, Dr. Koreman’s application to be an “associated” researcher at The Netherland’s Institute of War Documentation was approved. Such a designation will expedite access to Dutch and French archival material when Dr. Koreman begins a six-month study in The Netherlands and other “Dutch-Paris” countries in January of 2010.
