At its 2010 Spring Board Meeting held in Indianapolis in April, The Weidner Foundation board of trustees appointed Stephen F. Morgan, CPA its new Treasurer. Morgan replaces Dr. Ed Lugenbeal of Lancaster, Massachusetts who has served the foundation faithfully for the last two years. The board formally expressed its appreciation to Lugenbeal with a unanimous vote of thanks.
Stephen Morgan is the principal in a national practice based in Baltimore, Maryland. His firm provides accounting, taxation, funding analysis and related financial advisory services. He is a former National Center of Excellence director for an executive compensation practice with a Big Four accounting firm.
Morgan’s first challenge is to clear hurdles posed by the Patriot Act, allowing the foundation to pay Megan Koreman, Ph.D. as she conducts research in European archives.
